Tuition Fee


1- STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY THE TUTION FEE INCLUDE THE ONES

  • enrolled in the Preparatory School; freshmen,
  • enrolled in the BA programme; studying their 1st-8th semesters,
  • Graduate-MA; studying their 1st-4th semesters,
  • Graduate-PhD; studying their 1st-8th semesters,
  • enrolled within the foreign student quota, in possession of T.R. citizenship, granted permission by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Students who certify that their underage children registered in the certificate of renunciation of Turkish citizenship have a document on the Exercise of the Rights Recognized in accordance with the Turkish Citizenship Law (Blue card holders),
  • Syrian students who are hosted in our country due to the events in the Syrian Arab Republic, who settled in the quota to be determined separately within the scope of the foreign student acceptance quota according to the principles determined by the Higher Education Council,
  • who declare that they are a martyr or a veteran child with a document which they will receive from Military Offices or Police Headquarters do not pay tuition fees (Original documents must be submitted).

2- STUDENTS WHO ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE TUTION FEE INCLUDE THE ONES
  • enrolled in the Preparatory School; studying their 2nd semester,
  • who exceed the duration of their BA, MA and PhD programmes,
  • with T.R. citizenship, registered in undergraduate programs within the scope of the student acceptance quota from abroad and Turkish and Blue Card holders who exceed the education period of the programme,
  • being hosted in our country due to the events in the Syrian Arab Republic, Syrian students enrolled based on the quota which is to be determined separately within the scope of the foreign student admission quota according to the principles determined by the Higher Education Council and exceed the duration of their programme,
  • enrolled in a second higher education programme within the same scope while enrolled in a program within the scope of the first and distant education,
  • Foreign undergraduate students who will be newly enrolled or renew their enrolment at our university and graduate students who are placed abroad based on the quota (These students will pay the tuition fee which is three times higher than the usual rate which is determined for the program they are enrolled in.).
  • Enrolled in the Evening Education Master's Programme with Thesis will pay a tuition fee of 150.00 Turkish Liras for one (1) ECTS.
  • Registered within the scope of Decree Law 667 will pay tuition fees.

THE STUDENT SHOULD PAY THE TUITION FEE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RELEVANT PERIOD DURING REGISTRATION OR REGISTRATION RENEWAL. THOSE WHO DO NOT PAY CONTRIBUTION OR TUITION FEE AND THOSE WHO HAVE NOT BEEN ACCEPTED BY THE RELATED BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CANNOT REGISTER FOR THAT PERIOD AND BENEFIT FROM THEIR STUDENT RIGHTS.


3- THE AMOUNT OF TUITION FEE FOR PROGRAMS IN EDUCATION IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
  • In departments / programmes teaching in a foreign language, the tuition fee is paid as one and a half times.

5- PAYMENT OF TUTITION FEE 
The transactions and payment methods required by our students enrolled in undergraduate / postgraduate programmes and who need to pay tuition are explained below. You are required to pay the tuition fee as follows.
There is no money order or EFT method for fee payments.
 
A. Cash Payment from Bank Branch
Students who want to make a payment from the bank branch are required to visit any HALKBANK branch and state that they want to pay Turkish-German University undergraduate / graduate fee and complete the transaction with their student ID numbers.

B. Cardless Payment from Halkbank ATM Devices
Students who want to pay without a card from Halkbank ATMs must follow the stages below.
1- Log in
2- Invoice and institution payment
3- Tuition fee
4- Turkish-German University fee
5- Enter your student ID number
6- Deposit
7- Receipt

C. Payment via Halkbank Internet Banking
Students with Halkbank account and use Internet banking are required to make their payments as follows:

  • Please note that there is no need to send payment receipts and receipts to our Registrar's Office.
 
  • Payment receipts and receipts must be kept by the student throughout your education at Turkish-German University to be submitted when necessary.
 
  • Tuition fees and tuition fees of students who register and cancel their registration voluntarily are not refunded.
